I've got a suggestion for your list. JJ Grey & Mofro came out with a new CD in August, called "Orange Blossoms." It's got the same southern feel with a bit more soul and R&B, even a little funk to it. Horn section is more to the front, added violin, cellos on a couple songs, 3 ladies on backup. But this is okay, in fact it could be best for the team. Sure it's always nice to win, but right now, the Cubs need to be resting their starters and seeing what sleeper, post-season prospects they have waiting in the ranks. These next 4 games are gimme's, practice for the post-season, so Lou and Cubbies should take full advantage of the opportunity, as many teams are still contending for their spot in October, and won't be able to reserve their starters. Don't get me wrong, I would love to see the Cubs pull off the "Hundo Season", but I think fans would trade 100 regular season-game wins for a more world-series prepared team any day, or year.... Keep on "Believing"... and Let's Paint October CUBBIE Blue! This brings that sacred number of 100 a little bit closer to their grasps, although don't forget there is a lot of baseball to be played in the post-season. But for now, we can keep our eyes on a slightly closer achievement. The Cubbies will need to win 4 of their next 5 games, and with 4 of the games against two teams in contention for the Wild Card title, it'll be no easy task. And what does it mean if they win 101????
